McMaster University’s Summer Accommodations

  • Available from early May to mid-August
  • Reservations are available in Peter George Centre for Living & Learning (PGCLL) and Les Prince Hall.
  • Guests can stay any number of nights in a variety of room styles (scroll down for room types)

How It Works

Enjoy progressive discounts automatically applied and averaged across the length of your stay.

  • Nights 1-6: Enjoy value pricing as low as $95 per room, per night for single occupancy
  • Nights 7-14: Save up to 10% on the base rate category
  • Nights 15-29: Save up to 20% on the base rate category
  • Nights 30+: Unlock our deepest discount and save up to 30% on the base rate category, with HST fully waived.

Connected Rooms with Ensuite Washroom

A family-friendly connected room option. Choose between two connected rooms with one double bed in each room, or two double beds in each room. Connected ensuite washrooms between the two rooms are multi-user friendly, equipped with sinks and individual shower and toilet areas.

Parking

Important

Lot G is temporarily closed for repaving. We appreciate your patience as we work to improve your on-campus experience at McMaster.

McMaster University uses HonkMobile’s 24-Hour Parking for Summer Accommodation reservations.

The HonkMobile app can be downloaded on the Google Play or Apple App Store. New users can register for an account from the app or HonkMobile’s web site.

24-Hour Parking (May 4 to August 9, 2026):

  1. Park on campus in Lot G, or H.
  2. To register please text 75498 with zone number 4922, OR click here for the Honk mobile website.
  3. Enter your license plate number.
  4. Select daily rate of $12 per day on weekdays or $8 per day on weekends.
  5. Select your payment option and make a payment to officially register your vehicle.

Unregistered vehicles on campus will be ticketed at the owner’s expense.

Cancellations & Change Policy

  • Reservations are prepaid and non-refundable.
  • Modifications to existing reservations are subject to a $25 administrative fee.
  • To request a modification to your reservation please contact reserve@mcmaster.ca at least 48 hours prior to arrival.
  • Requests received within 48 hours of arrival may incur additional charges.
