Welcome to Crescent House
One of McMaster’s Signature Venues nestled on a quiet crescent in Hamilton’s west end and conveniently located beside our main campus.
This two-story house offers event organizers a versatile space, including the Alpine Meeting Room for formal meetings and use of the main floor for breakout discussion, networking, and social gatherings.
Amenities include a large kitchen with a wide island perfect for catering, a spacious fireside lounge, and intimate sitting room to foster conversation and keep the inspiration flowing. The second floor features four bedrooms each with a private ensuite washroom, deal for organizers to meet and stay onsite or host VIP guests.
Exclusively available for McMaster-affiliated faculty and staff, Signature Venues support university events.

Crescent House is available for daily rental at $1,683 per day.

- Alpine Conference Room with flexible round-table setup, 75″ TV, and podium for presentations
- Private Washrooms (2) on main floor and upstairs (with access for day events). Main floor includes accessibility ramp for washroom and conference room access
- Fireside Lounge with casual seating for up to 10 guests
- Evergreen Room featuring comfortable seating for 5 guests and a 4-person high-top table
- Gourmet kitchen with an adjacent dining room accommodating up to 10 guests
- Balcony patio with seating for 6, overlooking a spacious greenspace backyard
- Parking for up to 12 vehicles
Audio-Visual
The Alpine Room includes a 75″ TV with access to AirTame for wireless connection, or an HDMI cable for easy plug-and-play presenting.
The Conference & Event Services team can assist with ordering additional AV (sound system, projector, portable screen, etc.) based on your event requirements, at an additional fee.
Catering
Food and beverage can be arranged through McMaster Catering Services. Catering menus are available for review online.
