McMaster University currently offers three luxurious options within our signature suites accommodations, The Marion, The Sassafras, and The Mulberry.
The Marion
Stay on-campus at McMaster and enjoy your stay in our first executive-style accommodation.
The Marion is McMaster University’s first signature suite and has been designed for exceptionally comfortable stays of all lengths. Located within the Bates Residence, the name The Marion is a nod to Marion Stillwell Bates, McMaster’s first Dean of Women and for whom the Bates Residence is named.
When you book The Marion suite, you can look forward to enjoying our custom designed space featuring queen size bed, a beautifully furnished living room with fireplace, deluxe kitchenette, and marble bathroom.

The Sassafras
Stay on-campus at McMaster and enjoy your stay in our second executive-style accommodation.
The Sassafras is McMaster University’s second addition to the signature suites line-up. This premium offering has been designed for exceptionally comfortable stays of all lengths. Located within the Brandon Hall, the name The Sassafras refers to sassafras trees unique to southwestern Ontario. With an abundance of these trees found in Cootes Paradise, guests staying in The Sassafras can wander through the gorgeous sassafras trail just steps away.
When you book The Sassafras suite, you can look forward to experiencing our uniquely designed space featuring a queen size bed, a modern furnished living room, deluxe kitchenette, and executive bathroom.

The Mulberry
Stay on-campus at McMaster and enjoy your stay in our third executive-style accommodation.
The Mulberry is McMaster University’s third signature suite. It’s one-bedroom layout makes it the perfect place to work and relax during stays of all lengths. Located within the Brandon Hall, The Mulberry overlooks Cootes Paradise and enjoys beautiful nature views featuring its namesake, the endangered Red Mulberry tree.
When you book The Mulberry suite, you can look forward to enjoying our custom designed space featuring queen size bed, a fully appointed kitchenette, comfortable living area, separate writing nook with desk, and a spacious bathroom.

Rates are per room, per night, subject to HST at 13%.

Availability can be found on the reservation portal by clicking the “Book Now” button at the top of the web page. McMaster Signature Suites offer a 2-night minimum and a 90-night maximum booking.
Rooms may be set up differently than they appear in photos.
Cancellation Policy: Due to the high demand and exclusive nature of McMaster Signature Suites, all reservations must be prepaid and are non-refundable. Additionally, once a reservation is made, it cannot be altered. Please be aware that in the event of a cancellation or modification, the guest will be responsible for the full cost of the room and applicable taxes.
